They think they know how we feel

They think they understand

But they don't know what we have to do to heal

To pick ourselves up and stand

To having our whole world collapse inside us

But covering it up with a smile they say is so precious

To having them think we're quiet because we're shy

But knowing that if we speak, we might unveil what we hide inside

To having them question why we don't talk much

Hell, they have no idea how much we talk to ourselves

They think we're strong and we never cry

Ask our bathroom tiles who have held us a million times
